 SAHS Birthday Announcement
The 100 years of SAHS
Celebration was held during Homecoming this fall. Special events
were conducted for pre-game at the homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 2 and then a
huge day of events were held at school on Saturday, Oct. 3rd

with a special logo designed especially for the 100 yrs.

Cook Books
In anticipation of our
upcoming 100th Year Celebration, the SAHS Junior Class compiled
recipes for a cookbook, Dragon Bites, which is still for sale. SAHS alumni, former or current faculty members and staff, and
current students have submitted their recipes and short
anecdotes about their life in the lair. We are also selling

Parades
There was a
homecoming parade on Monday, Sept. 28th. A second parade to
celebrate the 100th took place on Saturday. Many of the former
band and majorettes participated!
Tours
Tours of the building were conducted and a
ceremony/presentation was conducted with the Mayor of St. Albans,
Superintendent of Kanawha County Schools, etc
